05/06/2008 | Laurent Lazard… just some words on his stay in Miami

Sincere, amiable, humble, friendly, and a thousand other words would describe Laurent Lazard upon meeting him. Just a regular guy arrived in Miami that day, one who has twice raced the LISBOA-DAKAR, who finished third in the WORLD ENDURO competition, who 10 years ago chose Uruguay as his second home, who makes Uruguayans extremely proud when he shows off our flag in some picture or other. Let me just say that all of us who love motorcycles and love Uruguay are thankful to him for choosing this small country and helping it take flight in the eyes of the world.

He arrived in Miami on Saturday , May 23rd with his KTM duffle bag and wanting to ride the motocross track he had been told so much about. It wasn’t Laurent Lazard, the champ, it was just Laurent Lazard
